My Pastor and his son visited the workshop this morning. We shaped a "Derby Car" for his Cub Scout Derby Competition. He & his dad will finish it with some paint and decals. Always nice to have the "Wee Ones" discover an interest in wood. Check out the pics.

I had a similar visitor one night this past week. My 7 y.o. nephew came over with his block of wood and a picture of a formula 1 car. I roughed it out for him and sent him on his way with some sandpaper. I expect to be seeing his older brother any day now.
