    Veritas miniature tools

As you know Lee Valley has been manufacturing Veritas miniature tools for the last several years. I have purchased and use some of these tools. To name a few I have the block plane, chisels, and router plane. Each of these has come in handy on numerous occasions. I'm interested to know how other woodworkers have used Veritas miniature tools. In particular, I'm most curious about the miniature spokeshave. Thanks.

Hi James, There have been a couple, if not more, threads on this already > https://sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?244775 < is specifically on the Veritas tools.

This thread > https://sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?289269 < is on small tools in general.

My Veritas spokeshave has only been used a few times testing its abilities.

    It isn't my first mini-shave:

Though it is much nicer than this one.

I have used the router and the shoulder plane. The rest are in storage and as a collection. They are a very nice collection if you have cash to spare.

I have the miniature rabbet plane and it has come in very handy on a few occasions. I used it most recently to remove paint from gluing areas while making a barn dollhouse for the grandchildren. It was much easier to remove the paint after, than trying to mask off all the gluing areas prior to painting.

Very useful for small groove tuning. I've resisted buying others, but the miniature jack looks pretty cool
