    Snipe on drum sander

I have a new Jet 18-36 with minor snipe but it takes effort to sand it off and often it’s visible after finishing. The manual describes how to adjust the roller tensions and I did what they said but still there. After much effort the best I could get was with a strong indeed roller and weaker outfeed. I totally lost track of how many turns of the screws ended up from the factory setting. After much experimentation I have the extension tables adjusted very slightly high. Does anyone know what else to try?

I built an outfeed table for mine with it adjusted very slightly high. Worked for me, and I never had to deal with snipe afterwards.
    - After I ask a stranger if I can pet their dog and they say yes, I like to respond, "I'll keep that in mind" and walk off
