I'm glad the OP found a hatchet he liked. I have had good luck with Kharkiv forge on Etsy for carving tools. The Link below is to the hatchet I have for carving. It is crazy slow to get, ships from the Ukraine, but the steel is amazing. Heck everything is, handles, the leather work on the sheathes or covers, everything.
