    Hi all,

Here's a jewelry box I was able to finish in time for the holidays for LOML.

Very Nice. My wife said it should be displayed on a wall like a painting.

awesome Chris! Love how you went "full boat" to inlay individual strip of curly maple to represent the Sun's rays. I admire your high standards! I would have been sorely tempted to short cut with 1 larger piece and then been disappointment with myself every time I saw it. Must be very satisfying feeling making something that beautiful for the LOYL!!

Maybe consider a discrete signature and date so granddaughters down the road have a story to tell about they inherited this ?

    Cheers- very well done Sir!

Well said ,Mike. The sun ray treatment is so instantly recognized that I had to keep looking at the beauty of whole thing for a while before realizing how stylized it is.

Inlays are beautiful, you really captured the essence of a Sandhill.
