    Question Floetrol

    Can you add floetrol to water based brushable lacquer to eliminate brush strokes.thanks jim

    Depends upon the specific product and whether or not it's compatible with something like Floetrol which was designed for house paint primarily. It's best to ask the manufacturer of the finish you are using. They may have their own extender or reducer that is preferable to help delay drying so the finish can flow out properly.

    Thanks jim it’s target coatings he has one I was trying to get something faster .I am brushing em6600 can’t get rid of brush marks very upsetting.

    I've used GF Extender in the TC finishes, but never looked into Flotrol. Give Jeff a call at Target and ask him during normal business hours tomorrow.

    Tom I emailed Jeff at target.he said I could use floetrol but no more than 10%.
