I'm wondering how a sphere would look with thin slices of colored acrylic or resin instead of wood. What kind of glue would work?

Something else to try with my gallon of resin. Maybe even different colors for each slice. I plan on 80g roughing the resin sheet then using epoxy for the ornaments.
