    Sapele Media Cabinet

All done but the shelf. Waiting on some brass shelf pins.

Glass is 5/32, tempered. Back panel is Sapele veneer with ventilation at the top and bottom.

The proud dovetails really set it off. Nice. What type of finish did you use?

Elegant craftsmanship Jake. Quartersawn lumber for rails and stiles, nice. Quartersawn just about everywhere!

I love the design. Is this your design? Kind f a MCM meets Craftsman. Very elegant in my opinion, but I might say that about most Sapele pieces

I love it, I love it, I love it. Beautiful wood grain with clean MCM lines with traditional joinery done extra well. Bravo!

Thanks Joe! Yes it is my own design. I really like Stickley, Greene & Greene, etc. I also like the stuff that Mike Pekovich builds. Maybe all three of those styles came through here and there.

MCM does seem to be coming through as well.

Great looking piece of fine furniture. Great looking wood and great craftsmanship. You can be very proud of that piece.

    Beautifully fitted doors.

I'm with AH - Sapele is on my "never again" list.

    Kudos

Very handsome! Love the details, the proud dovetails like the others, but also setting in the keyhole perfectly, Well done.
