Simple Vertical Jig for Sliding Table Saw

I needed to cut some corner spline slots in some picture frames so I made this jig for my slider. For standard cabinet saws I've seen similar jigs that ride along or on top of the fence but I hadn't seen one for a sliding table so here goes.

It's just an open "L" shape that screws down onto the table. The workpiece gets clamped to the side, here I'm using a triangle setup block to get the frame oriented. It stays square to the blade by resting against the miter fence.

I imagine that this might would work as a poor man's tenoning jig as well.

    Great idea.
Don't see many jigs for sliders so this is helpful.
