I like it , find the side pics more appealing than the full frontal. Don't like the cut-out on front rail .....it's a subliminal
drain hole. Like to see more Deco look on the crest rail. Never direct a lady to it while choosing a more narrow chair for
yourself !

Most gracious ,Mark. Gutzem Borglum got mad at me when I said ,"BIGGER !!!"
I kinda like the "top of the Empire State Building " look for chair top, it's so well known that it can be highly stylized and
still recognized. Always looks good ...." like a ziggurat should". WINSTON ,please forgive me!

I like it a lot, Mark. The curved seat/back looks to be comfortable. And the curved arms are a nice design. Frankly, I’ve never been a fan of Adirondack type chairs. Yours has a very inviting look. I guess it’s safe to say you have the bent lamination thing down pat. Nice work.

Looks comfy Mark - what kind of wood did you use?
And that half circle cut out - what led you to that? It really draws the eye there. Intended?

Thanks Bill, I used soft maple. I looked for hemlock or cedar but could not find it in my area. I was afraid white oak would be too heavy. Soft maple is not weather resistant, so I may put a durable finish on it, or paint it. The chair is an exact replica of Michael Fortune's Garden Chair in Fine Woodworking. My wife, Mel, and you now seem to question the half circle - I will have to drop Michael an email!
