I was listening to ESPN radio today and they were talking to Kendrick Perkins. I'm not much of an NBA fan (I'm a Knick, fan do I need say more) but Perkins story was nice to hear. He was raised by his grandparents. With his first NBA checks, before he spent anything on himself, he bought his grandparents a new house, his grandmother a new car and his grandfather a new truck. He said that was the only time in his life he saw a tear escape from his grandfathers eye. What a good guy is Kendrick.
