    Today I salute all my brother and sister veterans.

    Count me in, I also salute all my fellow veterans.

    A quick tally of living and passed friends, family and former coworkers totaled about 20 vets.

    I was lucky, my father and his 2 brothers returned from overseas in WWII, so I'm here now.

    Remembrance Day observances were much different this year due to Covid 19.

    In Toronto we're in a phase 3 restriction so I didn't go to the cenotaph this year, I did however have a poppy mask made for the day to augment my poppy pin.

    Rod, thanks for bringing up the poppys, it brought to mind that my father in law used to wear one on memorial day.
