I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this saw. It's in great shape, and I got it for a very reasonable price. Next task is to move it onto my shop.

I have an X-5 with the Unifence that I bought used about 6 years ago and it hasn't given me any trouble at all. It's about 15 years old now. There is a bit of thunk on startup, but not too much. Made in USA from imported parts.

I have a 2003 or so X5 Unisaw. Nothing wrong with it at all. It wasn't made in China either.
If I can find another I will buy it for my vacation home shop
