I had a pair of nice spalted liquid amber platters with finish on it (poly). I placed one on top of another and put a paper towel between the two. I let them sit for a couple of days and when I got back to them I found a couple of holes in the paper towel in the same location as a new hole. What a surprise ! Because there were obvious tunnels, I squirted them with a termite killer until it came out another hole. It worked. So now, sometimes if I find a bunch of holes in a green blank, I'll shoot it with spray termite killer and then bag it.

A kitchen remodel happened several years ago and we bought an extra microwave. Once the kitchen was done, I moved it to the shop. However, I'm still very careful.

CA glue will kill them inside the holes.... Don't think I would want termite killer on anything I was going to eat out of.
