Thread: Laser Stand

    Laser Stand

Have not seen a lot around this topic on here. I have purchased a Trotec Speedy 100 still awaiting shipping. The stand for that unit runs around $595. Just wondering if anyone has gone with the stand or built their own? I imagine for that cost, one could build a pretty nice one with more functionality to it. The stand I currently have for my eBay laser is on wheels with a 2x4 frame, OSB board and one shelf. It is nothing pretty but has worked. I really wanted a row of cabinets but the unfinished ones being 34" high just figured would put the laser so high up would need a step stool to use it. I have thought of building a storage cabinet system as a base. Just seeing what others have done.

There is no reason not build your own and customize it as well. I have the Trotec carriage on my Speedy 300 but I could make better use of the area under the machine for storage.

Probably can not find one today.
I use an old printer stand under my VersaLaser
Remember the stands for the large dot matrix printers?
