    Cherry Cabriole Leg Bench

Finished this simple bench last week, I did "dutch foot" aka cabriole legs as an excuse to try off-axis turning. The legs came out well enough as there are only a few measured reference points.

I used this article as a guide. A while back I had asked a question about how to be certain where the two axes intersect (at the bottom of the pommel). Well it turns out that if you measure & mark the axis points carefully that "node" will indeed be right at its theoretical location. I found that using dividers & marking scribe to be essential in getting this level of accuracy.. pencil marks didn't cut it.
