    So I did meet up with Andrew and he took hammer and tong to my little plane with the happy result that you see here.

    I would say that he did magical work, but in actuality, the magic was that he turned the effort into a non-mystical straightforward process that I could follow, and I now have the confidence to take on the next one myself.

    Have to disagree with you there Doug! Pretty sure it was, as they say, it was PFM (Pure Magic)!

    It is a good looking plane. Always nice when you get it working.
