    Not specifically a woodworking ? adjustment of tension on a tambour help

    Any suggestions on how to adjust the spring tension on a tambour without taking it completely out? Does this black screw adjust anything?

    Sorry, that photo's no help. I have 2 tambour doors in my kitchen & the mechanism has to be removed to adjust the spring. The doors have been there about 15 years & have not needed adjustment.

    the spring tension is off on one and needs to be adjusted thanks.
