    Maslow CNC, anyone use one?

Does any one have experience with this CNC routing device?

I saw a video on YouTube awhile ago of one of those...I don't recall anyone here making one, but it's certainly possible. Keep in mind that due to the nature of how it's constructed, it's more for "cutouts" where there's no variation in the depth of cut for a given toolpath. Folks have made some very interesting things with them, however, based on browsing the website.

I had one. It was persnickety to say the least. They are slow and will only semi-accurately cut about 3' x 4'.

I sold it and put together a Lowrider2 which I really like.

Tim Sway reviews the newest version in this new video...

Pretty impressive for what it is.

The Maker's Group that I belong to has one. It works barely OK in the center third of a panel, but does not do well as the router moves to the corners.
