    Thanks Ken, I'll do the same in a convenient location. And next time I have to replace the batteries, will remember to be careful with this remote. :-)

    I'll bet many of these simple units are a Chinese design that is simply re-branded (Color, Brand Logos). Jet just picks one of their designs and maybe has a choice of a few options for the units. This saves Jet and design costs and tooling costs for their design.

    My Jet sir scrubber remote has been acting up lately too. Will turn unit on but not off. Never thought to take remote apart and look at it. Will do that tomorrow. Good thread. Tx.
