    Lightbulb Laser Settings

    Hi guys,

So Im expecting my first laser (really to get my feet wet and see how everything goes).
    Its a chinese laser 60w, 600x400mm, not a k40.

But the thing im wondering about, is how do I figure out the best settings, in the shortest amount of time?

I know I can do trial and error, but there has to be a better and easier way, than to waste alot of materials?

Is there like a template, where you can set the various power/speed, cutting and engraving?

Any assistance will be helpful and much appreciated

I will defently look into that one

I'm guessing the file contains the settings for each color and thus sets LB to the proper speed/power for each

There's links in the video description that give you EZCad test files for three or four charts that can help you figure out your settings - I've found the channel to be very informative and helpful overall so it might be worth it to check out some of his other videos as well. This guy is running a 20W fiber laser from China.

The OP has a co2 machine, not a fiber.
