    Tissue box cover

Went to visit my 86 year old mother today and noticed she had moved this tissue box from her bedroom to the kitchen. I think she did it for my benefit. This was a gift for her 80th birthday I think. Sometimes scraps can be put to good use. Maple walnut and cherry.

Beautiful piece. I remember that when I was in early grade school Kleenex offered plastic no ad box covers. Well, they
will never top yours ! Knowing Moms ,I bet she is a quick draw when a friend needs one...and doesn't allow them
    "operate it".

Very nice, Joe. I’m sure she thinks of you every time she sees it.
I’ve made a few for around the house. They are a great project for me to use up off cuts of plywood and veneer.
