That's really an attractive end result! It's wonderful when you can start with the "clean slate" of a total gut of the space, too. Bravo!

Looks great jamil.hoping to do the same with mine.what is the backsplash looks nice.
I especially like the choice of stone work, makes the kitchen seem busy even when nothing is happening. Like a stop
motion sequence of meal prep. Blends and highlights the cabinets, and I'm guessing it might even blur and hide a few
things that are needed too often to put away.
P.S. first time I've seen curtains on a 'fridge' door. But I like 'em !
Thank you. The backsplash was sourced by the homeowners, so I can't tell you where they got it, but it's lengths of natural slate with colored glass accents.
That looks great. Where are you located?

Thank you, Glenn. I'm in central PA
You can add that to your profile...sometimes it's good to understand where someone is relative to geography as it may be material to a particular discussion.
And it's good to see you're also in PA. I grew up in NE PA, spent four years in Happy Valley in central PA and have been in SE PA ever since.

I've never seen that lighting choice before. You've got lighting inside the uppers. Do you have glass shelves, so the light floods the whole cabinet? Or do you just light whatever is on the top shelf?
You went to Penn State?
The shelves are solid so it's just accent lighting for the items the homeowner wants to show.
There are also glass door cabinets with glass shelves and in-cabinet lighting to show off their collection of vintage barware. I haven't taken photos of that yet because I'm still putting up the wainscot in that part of the house. I'll update this thread in a couple of days with more pictures
Tight, orderly and attractive without ornamentation.
Your work is everything I aspire to achieve.
Kudos
(I particularly like the window seat tying the corners together. )
