    Who makes what

Here's an article and infographic of who makes what. It's mostly hand and power tools. Jet and Powermatic are made by JPW. It doesn't mention Delta, Sawstop or Grizzly

I wonder how many of the power tools come out of the same factories.

I was surprised to learn that Bosch makes Vermont American and that Stanley makes FACOM.

Edit. When I searched on JPW, I learned they now own Baileigh Tools, a sponsor here on SMC.

That's just the parent company that owns the brand. What is more interesting is which company the parent company pays to build their tools. While Geetech will never officially say what tools they make for which brand a simple search of their website shows they have a strategic partnership with a number of different bands. So what you are paying for is what level of quality in both machining and parts the brand chooses.

I believe SawStop is now owned by Festool.
