    Jet 1642--GFCI Circuit or nor?

    Good afternoon,
Going to look at a Jet 1642 shortly. If all is in order--it will likely follow me home. It's the 110v version, looks to have a Delta S1 inverter. I'll be using a 20 amp circuit, with nothing else running on it while the lathe is on. Should that circuit have GFCI or not? If it is dependent on what type of GFCI--what is suggested. Seems like i've seen some VFD/GFCI discussions, but i'm not coming up with anything this morning.
    Thanks,
    earl

Definitely no GFCI. VFD and GFCI don't play well together.

Thanks Rich--that's what i was thinking. Didn't buy the 1642--price was fair looking at the pics, but rougher in person. Still...i'll run a fresh 20 amp circuit without GFCI, probably a few drops so i can be flexible.
    Thanks again,
    earl
