    Rikon 10-325 & band tension. DieMaster2/ Trimaster

Will this saw sufficiently tension either of these blades adequately? Toolcenter.com/Cyber woodworking depot has both for what seem to be a reasonable price. Both are 1/2" .025" thick which makes me think this saw may be able to tension one or both. Anyone have any thoughts or experience? I could easily upgrade the spring if that would help. On a related topic, has anyone bought blades from Toolcenter? How were the welds? Thanks for any input. the shipping is better than most vendors, looks like $8.95 for 2 blades.

Lenox recommends 25,000 PSI for Tri-Master blades. On a .025" X .5" blade, that's just over 300 lbs total tension on the blade. Based on my experience with the Rikon 10-325, the saw can take that kind of load without flexing, but I don't think the stock spring will deliver it.

Thanks Steve. A new spring wouldn't be a big thing.
