    Mini Lathe Belt Replacement

I have a Rikon 70-100 mini lathe. I haven't turned in awhile, it turned on then the spindle stopped turning. I noticed the belt slipped and was basically worn out. I can buy from Amazon or eBay, but was wondering if there is something better to use than what originally come on it? Also will automotive belts work?

I don't think they make automotive belts that tiny.
I have urethane on mine. It looked a bit sketchy, so I got another. Still going on the first one.

Have you seen automotive applications for something that tiny? I can't think of a single one.

No, I was just looking for an alternative than waiting for something to be delivered. I needed a new dust port for my TS and it took 7 weeks to be delivered.
