Moisture Content - working in Eastern White Pine

    Hi all!

I am building a Dutch tool chest and got some eastern white pine a few days ago for the case sides and bottom. I checked the moisture content today (after dimensioning it), and it’s at 10%. Will I be asking for trouble if I go ahead and dovetail it? Or is it OK to work at 10% MC considering that it’s such a stable wood?

    thank you,

    craig

That's a pretty good MC for white pine so go for it.
