    Well I agree it's none to fancy.....that is beautiful.
    Send it my way as I have lotsa great old tools would make it even nothing fancier. Good job.

    That is exactly the thing! Handsome but humble. Polished by the incidental touch of fingers imbeded with "true (fine) grit". Soon your Wife will tell you what she would use it for.....if she had one !

    Handles finally arrived. Not quite what I was wanting. They used a bolt from inside of a drawer...not and option for the sides of the tool chest. There was also a couple fake screwheads...hmmm, gring those flat, replace by drilling a hole through about the same spot...helps when the drill bit is SHARP. Then, spray the handles black, allow to dry.....then install....hopefully they match up...

    I would use leather. Wouldn't buy it ....just point out worn out belts to friends.
