    Unhappy Double engraving

    hello
    i have a problem i can't solve.
    I bought a Chinese co2 laser 50W now I changed the tube to 60w.
    It all worked well.
As I was engraving, the red wire touched the case and burned my power supplies. the laser burned even as it moved.
So I bought the same 50w power supply and solved the problem
There is another problem that I can't solve in any way.
    photo 1
-below how it engraved me before the mistake
-up how it engraves me now
    Double or ghosting engraving
photo 01 and 001 settings which I chose everything.
I checked the mirrors, the lens, the angularity, the tightness of the straps. everything looks fine.
I am adding two more photos of the setting and how it engraves the text.
The laser does not engrave below 13% power and does not engrave small lines.
    I ask for your help
    thank you very much

To adjust for your double-image, you first need to check/adjust if necessary your X axis belt for tightness, this is 'backlash' or 'reverse interval' adjustment-

    Run a test engraving, best way is to just engrave a series of thin vertical lines, like | | | | | | | | | ....

in your program, you need to click on CONFIG, then SYSTEM SETTING, which will bring up the menu shown,
you want the 'scanning-reverse interval' menu, as circled...
    bklash.jpg
These settings compensate for belt tension or other factors causing the misalignment. Note the defaults are set in 100mm speed increments. First thing to do is edit the adjustment numbers at the speed you're currently running. Note that sometimes you need to enter negative numbers.

So do your test run, then adjust the 'reverse interval' numbers. You'll need to experiment with the numbers to find out if raising or lowering values helps. One you know, then keep adjust the numbers until your vertical lines line up perfectly. THEN, run the same test at the different speeds listed, and adjust those too.

Once you have all speeds adjusted, your machine should engrave wonderfully...

Any other issues can be addressed later once the backlash is taken care of.

As to your not firing below 13% power, this is typical of glass lasers, the only fix is to raise the power until it DOES fire consistently, and adjust the speed to compensate...

    hello

    Thank you for your answer.
So I fixed the problem with scanning-reverse.
    I have another problem.
Before the problem, the laser engraved the thin lines nicely.
Now he doesn't burn them at all.
What could be wrong with that?
I attach the picture before and after.
    Thanks

Different tube, different power supply, you need to try different power settings (and speed also)
You changed big things. BTW, most chinese lasers have a minimum percent power at which they do not fire.
My 80watt is 17%. So my zero power is 17% my max is 80% at which it is at maximum rated amps for continuous use.
