1 inch Baltic Birch plywood

I'm planning a project that would require 1 inch Baltic Birch plywood.
I found a thread from about 14 years ago and the consensus was to glue two 1/2" pieces together

Has anything changed? Is my best bet to glue two pieces together? Wood glue? Contact cement? Anything else?

I can buy 24mm Baltic birch plywood locally. You might be able to find it near you.

Laminating two sheets of 12mm can work if you have some way of clamping while glue dries - vacuum veneer press or the like.

Don't know where you are, Boulter Plywood in Somerville MA stocks it and will ship. I've seen it in other hardwood lumber yards around here, not that uncommon. It will be 25 mm though, not 1". 5x5 sheet is $110, 4x8 is $170 (and weighs 115 lbs).

That's a nice price-- about what subflooring is going for at the Borg around here these days. Can't believe the prices on plywood now.
