To be clear - I’m talking about your dust collector hose.
I want to hang a couple from my ceiling and wanted to see what others have done.

For your example, when I'm sanding like this, I use a dog grooming clamp arm (Amazon about $50) to help take the weight of the hose and power cable off the tool. With those supported, it makes it much easier to just float the sander over the work piece.
It really helps with fatigue. It would be simple to fabricate something similar. Even a hook or eye bolt, in the ceiling, with a cord or string hanging down, would work.
(I groom my two small dogs, so I'd actually bought this before I started using it for sanding)

I actually loop my Festool hose over my shoulder....but if it was longer, I'd consider some kind of boom arm.

The most expensive tool is the one you buy "cheaply" and often...
I wanted so bad to make a joke.
Too many possible jokes to go there. Thanks for the over the shoulder technique tip.
I use an “inverted J” style bird feeder hanger with a clamp intended to be used on a deck railing. Cheap, effective and easy to store.
I have a couple stout hooks placed in the joists above my bench and keep a supply of bungie cords of various lengths near by. It allows me to support vacuum hose, air hose and cords pretty easily.
Occasionally I will even rig up a simple counter balance to lighten a tool or something I'm working with repetitively. Not very fancy but pretty effective and versatile.
I made an inexpensive boom out of EMT. Less than $15 and it works fine for my needs. Velcro straps hang the hose and power cord from the arm. The EMT slips loosely into two eye hooks which makes storage convenient.

For sanding without a hose I hang my wires like this

And for hanging the DC hose I have this made from a big flower pot (tree pot really)
