JessEm Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides

A fellow woodworker recommended the JessEm Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides to use on my SawStop ICS. Seems like a well made tool but will it get in the way of pushing wood through the cut? Any better alternatives to keeping the work piece down and toward the fence short of using push sticks and featherboards?
