    For those who have upgraded the Hammer K3 cross cut fence stop ...

    If you have upgraded the fence stop, this is what you now have ...



    I made the swap about a year ago, and wondered what I could do with the old stop. Then it dawned on me that it could be used as a stop - not for the cross cut, but for the mitre.

    Set up the mitre accurately ...





    Now install the stop behind the fence ...





    When not in use, it drops away ...

    Seems like a nice way to lock in "dead accurate" a particularly common angle you might use with your work for sure.

    Nice idea, Derek. I might have to do that next time I need to make some miter cuts.
