I was looking for a different project and decided to experiment using all possible wedges that I have in a bowl. My wedges range form 50 degrees(7.2 segments per ring) to 5 degrees (72 segment per ring). Not knowing what it would turn out like I decided to use some scrap that I had. Sassafras, oak, and I think a douglas-fir/hemlock[fis wood ==Found In Shop].

Pictures of first two rings dry fit.

Then the completed bowl with one coat of oil. About 10” wide, and 7” tall. Was surprised how the fis wood turned out.
