I do the primary on the Tormek at whatever it should be (20, 25, 30, etc) and then free hand the secondary on a 4000 grit waterstone. The last step is a quick touch on the strop wheel on the Tormek with that abrasive toothpaste they have in the yellow tube. The main reason I only have three steps is specifically because each step increases the likelihood of rounding the bevel. I suppose you could call the strop a tertiary bevel, although I try to do is as light as I can, so it doesn't round anything. I touch up the blade with just the waterstone and strop. I do that until the secondary bevel gets large enough that I lose patience from the time it takes and redo the primary bevel. Normally that is many touch ups.
