Hello all,
I just got and refurbished one of these jointers but one part is giving me trouble. The part is labeled as part number 72 in the parts diagram and I simply cannot find where it goes. It's labeled as a dust chute, but is not the external one, and it has a foam strip as a sealer. The diagram doesn't really show how it attached to the machine and the manual has no pictures of it anywhere. Upon firing up the machine for the first time I find the wood chips as piling up in the motor belt housing so I assume this dust chute should keep the chips out of there, but I still can't figure out the mounting location. Can one of my fellow JT360 owners help me out with where this part is supposed to go? I'm attaching a link that shows what and where number 72 is in the diagram.
