Any thoughts on craftsman 16" scroll saw model; #113.236110? I have a chance to buy one thats mounted on stand with a bunch of blades. $100.00 excellent condition.

Just did a real quick search. One listing on ebay was for $55. Certainly not mint, but it indicates that $100 might be a bit high priced. Also a pretty old saw, probably no parts available.

I had one, used it, then bought a used but barely used Excalibur. The Craftsman cut wood but due to the design compared to the Excalibur the vibration made it unpleasant to use. However, I only paid $25 for it at a yard sale, with a stand.

I have no idea if $100 is a fair price. If you plan on using a scroll saw a lot or for precision work you might want to hold out for a better one.
