Is this a Type 4 Sergent?

Picked up 2 409's and 414 for 50$ on CL that were in pretty good shape, soles flat. I'm cleaning them up to be "users". I "think" this is a type 4, but it's got the rosewood handles, which I understand were used in later years. I think I'm right on the Type 4 call, but wondering how close to 1950 this particular 414 is.

A side shot of the tote & knob would help but the tote definitely looks like mahogany from here.

    From Heckel:
Rosewood was used in the early years ('84--'09), then E. Indian mahogany ('10-'24), mahogany ('25-'47) and run of the mill hardwood ('48-'50).

Definitely had a smell when I sanded the wood, sawdust is brick-red.
