Add a plastic squirrel baffle below the feeder.

Cover the feeder in 1" garden mesh.

Hang the feeder with a pulley system

This one works after several modifications. This is the final iteration.

This is a timely thread. I have an Asian persimmon tree and the squirrels have been getting most of the fruit. I think I’ll try the pvc pipe solution this year. I’ll slit it in half and figure out some way to rejoin the halves around the tree.

I used a 4-5’ piece of stove pipe around a small pecan tree and the squirrel just jumped from the ground right over it to the tree.
