Joe, I'm kinda wondering myself. I bought the riser kit for my 1836 and they included those brackets. No instructions at all. I could not figure out what to do with them until I watched the video. Cannot figure out why they included them with the riser kit and not just add them with the wheel kit. I guess if you have the riser kit it takes a different bracket. Who knew.
