Buying a Laptop, any Tips?

I have to use a laptop, but I hate them..... Having said that, they need to be pretty robust. I take mine with me when I travel, and I also use it for tuning vehicles - so it's dragged back and forth from the vehicle to the shop, over and over. It gets banged around sometimes, and dropped..... My last and current machine is HP ENVY. 15" screen to see live date, and a 1T SSD. Aluminum case that's pretty tough. It's not "toughbook" tough, but it's been a reliable machine.

Since your wife is your primary tech support she should have a lot to say here.

If you can do your zoom meetings without a keyboard try using your phone and mirror the screen on your tv.
