    Ah yes the plague! Perfect time to come out of hiding and pick up a trade that the world will need to rebuild - a Blacksmith! Wait, that was another plague I think. It is a fun craft and your son can make useful tools for you as a woodworker!

    And....IF there can be a divider wall between the two shops.....(wipe yer feet! )....they can co-habitat in the same building....Maybe build a brick chimney into the wall farthest from the woodshop to house the forge.

    Just think of all the iron tools he can make for your woodshop.....in the steels of your choice.
