    Amazing tool deal

I'm not quite sure if this goes in the power tool or this forum, but I'm picking here.

Here is an ad I've gotten several times today on FB. I can import this cheaply if I'm just willing to wait a couple of weeks:

What the bell is that thing? A jointer table saw? How would wood go across the jointer with the infeed table being lower than the outfeed?

And looking at the size of the motor, that’s like a 4” jointer.

Maybe it's for those of us in too much of a hurry to joint half a board and rip in two separate passes....without a fence..

It's a two-man machine, the 20" saw blade runs counter to the jointer head - check the teeth.
    I'm a one man shop, otherwise it's a no-brainer.

I think the saw blade is the jointer fence. It is also the powerfeeder. The jointer is not really a jointer. it runs backwards so it really just polishes the wood on the back side of the knives.

Yes, it makes it easier to get whats left of your arm out of the jointer when using the saw.

I would add it to my shop because of it's great great dust collection. The jointer dust falls right onto the motor fan which blows it all over the shop to add to my dust collection. The blade is not quite as well designed for collecting unless there is another fan on that end as well.
The blade insert is huge and well designed with two lift holes already drilled.
I wonder if I can buy an insert head for the jointer? The old one would make a good boat anchor, for a very small boat.
Only issue I see is the mitre groove looks mighty narrow, probably not standard.

I thought that was a threaded lathe spindle for turning big bowls.

    Oh, it’s on now!!

I think this company knocked off a design my 8-year-old son came up with! I swear he’s drawn a contraption just like this.

Now, let me find that number to my lawyer!
