    wipe on/brush finish question

Hi- I'd like a finish that I could either wipe-on or brush that would color light colored wood as little as possible. I prefer water based finishes for ease of clean-up. Thanks -Howard

When I want something like maple to stay as white as possible over time I have used Minwax Polycrylic. User friendly, water borne, doesn't yellow.

General Finishes High Performance product is a good option for brush application. Water clear.

Waterbornes can be brushed relatively easily. Wipe on, not so much, because they dry so quickly...you can't work them like you can with a wipe on oil based finish.
