Need help deciding on dust collection strategy

Thanks everyone for your ideas and tips.

One last question -- for those of you who are using snap lock metal pipe, how much "sealing" did you have to do?

1. Metal tape down seam on pipe
2. Completely paint elbows in mastic?
3. Do anything to store bought wyes?

I largely used foil tape for sealing my snaplock and fittings. In some circumstances, mastic would have been better, but at the time I didn't know about it.
