    Laser optics

Where is the best place to buy lenses and mirrors? My friends Universal laser could use all new mirrors and a 2" lens.

    Thanks,

I've typically bought from CloudRay Laser, but with shipping delays even worse than normal from China, I've heard pretty good things about American Photonics, which is based here in the US>

There could be someone local. We have a place in Seattle, they will recharge the Tube for about half the price of new one from Epilog. Last time I think the mirror was $55. It’s nice to be able to drop by on the way to work if I needed anything.
They may be closed to the public now with the virus.

I'll second Cloudray on ebay, I've bought a lot of stuff from them, no problems with any of it--

But- also on ebay, search out II-VI laser lenses, I bought one awhile back, wasn't from Cloudray but was only $30 and I was very happy with it ("was" because I accidentally snapped it in half!) II-VI also makes mirrors. And supposedly, many laser mfr's use II-VI lenses in their machines...
