    ROFLOL! Believe it or not...I've emptied those racks on some projects plus added a few pipe clamps I have hanging in the stairway to my upstairs as backups. There is NO such thing as "too many" clamps.

    I recently updated my clamp storage (for the third, and hopefully final time) to this:

    I used some heavy duty shelf brackets from the borg, screwed to 2x6s, lagged into studs. I like this since the spacing between the brackets is up to you, allowing bar clamps, parallel clamps, pipe clamps, etc. I have all of my pipe clamps between two other garage doors. Here is a side view and a product label from the brackets:

    The brackets tend to be pretty wobbly near the ends and the gap can open up making the clamps not fit as well. To fix this, I bent some wire to keep the brackets aligned and the clamps from slipping off due to vibration or bumping:
