I have a complete Ortur laser engraver that I bought new from Gearbest, it's the software I'm haveing a problem with. I should have been more specific.

You may be able to use LightBurn, which is one of the most user friendly laser control packages around. Free 30 day trial, so doesn't cost anything to find out.

Yes Lightburn does work with his machine but I am not sure of his issues? Those machines are made for DIY folks and lack shielding for that beam which is the most dangerous of all the lasers sold.
