    I've had good success with a tight mouth and a tuned up cap iron on bevel down planes too. I just happened to have a spare bevel up blade for my #62 and didn't want to monkey with my #4 1/2. Plus, I have a pitchfork and know how to use it
    Sharp solves all manner of problems.
